Spacey electronic melodies and auto-tuned vocals that often blur the lines between singing and rapping are front and center on this latest single from CAPRICE SOLEIL. Reminiscent of the new age trap, the track is both atmospheric in its production and introspective in its lyrics, fitting comfortably within his discography. 

Young Lungs, a long-term contributor to the local hip-hop scene in the Region of Waterloo, returns with his first full-length EP since 2021, delivering arguably his strongest vocal performance to date. Homebody is a collection of exciting and eclectic songs that are a unique blend of multiple genres such as hip-hop, indie rock, pop and rap.

The debut LP from DEW is a collection of loud, lo-fi, DIY basement punk recordings that are guaranteed to induce head-banging. DEW is relatively new and part of a growing youth movement within the local music scene. They are leading the call for more all-ages venues and events within the area, as seen in their song All Ages.

Carry On is the solo project of Anthony Marecek whose sound combines folk storytelling with indie rock’s energy and experimentation. The highlight of the project is Marecek’s songwriting, often drawing from his own stories and life experiences while explicitly leaving room for the audience to create their own interpretations.  

Known for incorporating the many sounds of soul, disco, funk and R&B into his music, Pascua has opted for piano as the only instrument in support of his vocal performance on Once in a Lifetime. The song shines a beautiful spotlight on how warm and powerful Pascua’s voice truly is. This heartfelt and emotionally intense love song was aptly released on Valentine’s Day.
